Janelle Roybal

Janelle Roybal is deeply passionate about shaping a better future. This passion guided her to New Mexico State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering. Her career has spanned both the private and public sectors, with experience at organizations such as Los Alamos National Laboratory, Resource Central, WildEarth Guardians, and Williams Creek Consulting.

Janelle believes that creating a prosperous future rests on two main pillars: ensuring global sustainability for future generations and nurturing those generations. Her commitment to the first pillar is reflected in her academic and professional pursuits in environmental sciences. As a mother of two, the second pillar holds special significance for her. In her role as the Vice President of Pre-Collegiate Affairs with the SHPE NM Professional Chapter, Janelle is dedicated to nurturing the future generations of New Mexico.
