Mandy Cedeno

Mandy (Celaya) Cedeno was born in Northern California, raised in Mesa Arizona, and attended Mesa Community College and Arizona State University. She was very active in the student chapter of SHPE at ASU and served in many roles, including Student Chapter President, and Regional Student Chapter Representative.

Following her graduation from ASU with BS in Manufacturing Engineering she relocated to Rio Rancho NM to begin her professional career working for Intel corporation.Post graduation, she served on the National board of directors as secretary in 1992. She was a technical MFG supervisor in all 3 Intel factories on the site and a night shift MFG manager for her last 3 years of her 16 year career with Intel.

She has worked for Sprint, Fidelity investments and for the last 12 years she has worked for HP Inc in sales and customer support, currently a Customer Assurance Manager (CAM) for Fed LLC organization of HP – managing some of HP largest and most strategic customer accounts ensuring their post sales and quality experience with HP products is favorable. HP is part of the SHPE IPC counsel and Mandy did participate with the budding efforts in 2020/2021. Mandy has 3 grown children and 3 cats. Her and her BF enjoy spending time with family, traveling and attending local music concerts. “I am excited to re-engage with SHPE Albuquerque Professional Chapter and am running for VP of Corporate Relations to help bring in and attract Hispanic technical professionals while engaging local Corporations and their ERGs to advance STEM efforts at all levels. Networking and relationship building are key to SHPE growing the professional chapter and I am looking forward to being part of this endeavor.”
