As part of her dissertation efforts, she worked as&nbsp;a&nbsp;graduate research assistant at AFRL focusing&nbsp;on understanding vertical &amp; lateral transport properties of III-V mid-wave&nbsp;Type-II Strained Layered Superlattices&nbsp;infrared sensor materials using magneto transport techniques. Then,&nbsp;Lilian&nbsp;joined Sandia a post-doc in the fall of 2019 working on optical characterization of IR detector materials.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2021, she converted from post-doc to 6751 staff where she is currently Principal Member of the Technical Staff and is involved in the event-based sensing efforts and&nbsp;exploring different remote sensing detection systems for high-speed transient event characterization using compressive sensing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lilian Casias Lilian&nbsp;graduated with a PhD in electrical engineering from UNM in 2019.
